The Claybanks RV Park, is owned by the city of Merritt. The staff was friendly and the well laid-out sites were not to close to each other. The park is also big-rig friendly. There is lots of grass but the trees need to mature: it can be very hot in Merritt in the summer months. The park is close to downtown, and they have free Wi-Fi. This is a nice place to stay for a night or for several days if you wish to explore this area. We stayed 3 nights and would stay there again: $27 per night with full services.

Kettle River RV Park is one of our favorite campsites. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. The park was super clean, lots of grass (lawn), mature trees, children's playground, full hookups, community fire pits and swimming and rafting in the Kettle River. The bathrooms and laundry were very clean, free showers, and ($)Wi-Fi. We try to stay at this site at least twice a summer. We stayed 2 nights (had planned on more) at $33 per night.

A very nice Provincial campsite. Rustic. Divided into 2 section, 1 along the Kettle River – very private sites, reservations only – and the other in a more open, arid area with large pine trees, non-reservations only. Picnic table & fire pits at each site and wood can be purchased from the camp host. Lots of hiking & biking trails with swimming, rafting & fishing in the river. Central water, no showers, pit toilets, sewer dump ($2). A very popular campsite. $19 per night, $6.50 reservation fee for the first 3 nights.

This is an exceptional park. Large grassy areas between each campsite. The campsites are all paved and level. Mature trees. Very clean, close to downtown, quiet. Reservations definitely recommended. Will be definitely stay there again.

Older campsite but nice. Right beside the stampede grounds and river, close to city center. Some paved pads, some pull thrus, only the pull thrus are big rig friendly, the rest are tight or impossible. Washrooms were clean but are open to the general public. Services can be difficult to hook up to due to their configuration. Reasonably priced ($20). We will be staying here again. Max stay is 5 days.

Staff (owners) are very friendly & helpful. Small, well cared for park beside the Similkameen River. Some sites are a little tight, many large fir and pine trees on the property. Nice sandy area beside the river. Motel attached to the park. Washrooms & laundry are very clean. Weak Wi-Fi, limited cable TV. We will stay here again. Good Sam rate $23.40

Staff very friendly & helpful. Escorted to our site & assisted in set-up. Campsite was full but managed to find a site for us. I would recommend a reservation. This is a large park but has many long stay clients, and they also had a large group booked in. Whole park very clean & presentable, as were the washrooms & laundry facilities. We were staying only one night on our way home. Would stay there again. Good Sam rate $27.90

Staff were friendly & efficient. We had a grassy pull thru site. It was a little wet from all the rain. Other sites were gravel and grass. Decent size with some privacy from the adjoining site. Washrooms, showers & laundry were clean. Nice common room & playground for children. Trees need to mature. Free Wi-Fi, no cable. We stayed there for three nights & would stay there again. Good Sam rate $32.50

Friendly staff, easy check in. Convenient to town, easy access. The park is very well laid out, sites are large, limited pull thrus, full hookups except TV. Wi-Fi was spotty, possibly due to ongoing construction. Campground is a little sparse but will improve as the trees, shrubs and lawns mature Washrooms and laundry were spotless. Access to motel pool included. Train tracks behind campground but were a non factor. Would definitely stay there again. Good Sam rate $27.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Escorted us to our site. Campsite is laid out very orderly with mostly pull-thrus and shared shelters for the picnic tables. Full hookups with free Wi-Fi. Some difficulty with connections. Cable TV was $3 per day. In my opinion not worth it, limited channels. Washrooms are large and presentable, laundry was under renovations. Games room, some supplies, meeting area, basketball court & gas pumps that were shut down. A good facility. We stayed for 4 days and would stay there again. Good Sam rate $34.

Easy access, friendly and helpful staff. We were escorted to our site and assisted us to back into our site. Big rig friendly with several pull thrus. Full hookups including free Wi-Fi but a $2 charge for cable. Some shaded sites. Washrooms, showers and laundry were clean. We stayed for two days and would stay there again. Good Sam rate $27.

Staff were friendly. Older KOA & some of the sites are a little tight in both width & length. Weak Wi-Fi system at best. We have stayed here several times before & the campsite has always been busy. Much quieter this time. Still has it’s full timers but transient clients seems to be down. Might be the economy or maybe due to road construction on the street leading in to the camp. Also seems to be less train traffic, you are near the main-line & it can be noisy.

Very helpful & friendly staff. Campsites are large and mostly shaded. Park is clean and very well maintained. Free Wi-Fi & cable. Nice clean washrooms & free showers. Good laundry facilities. A little close to the freeway, some noise. We stayed for 2 days & would stay there again. Good Sam rate $34.

Staff was accommodating & gave helpful local info when asked. Campground roads were only fair but passable. Good free Wi-Fi, no cable. Convenient location to town. Entrance a little deceptive. Sites are a decent size. There were several longer term units there. OK for a night or two. Good Sam rate $32 less 10%.

Staff was friendly & very helpful. Campground is nice & will be very nice when the trees mature. Sites are a little tight but are laid out so there is room for slides & awnings. All pull thrus. All services. Washrooms & laundry are very clean. Some hi-way noise during the day but quiet at night. We stayed there for two nights & would stay there again. Good Sam rate $34.50

Very friendly staff, let us preview several site before choosing. Escorted to our site and assisted us in backing in. Some pull thrus, full hookups including strong Wi-Fi and cable. Some shaded sites. Some sites a little tight, some sites have trees that impair the opening of awnings and/or slides. Staff very helpful in making sure your site is right for your needs. Washrooms and laundry very clean. Heated pool. We stayed there for three days and would stay there again. Good Sam rate $29

Staff were friendly. Newer park, well laid out with large pull thrus. All facilities very clean. This park will be a “10” once the trees mature. Would definitely stay there again. Good Sam Rate $24.30

Evergreen Campground Havre Staff was friendly and escorted us to our spot and assisted us to back into our site. The site was very tight. We could not deploy our awning and our slide was only five to six feet from the next unit. We had full hook ups. The WiFi free and strong. They definitely have a mosquito problem so not having a picnic table was not a problem. There is lots of shade and it appears most of the sites are long term guests. Washrooms and laundry could use a cleaning and/or renovations. OK for one night but we would not stay any longer.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Campground is a little sparse as the trees need to fill out a little more and the grass needs to fill in. Pull thru sites will handle most rigs. Convenient location. Full service except for cable TV. Owners are currently modifying some of the sites. We paid $28 per night with a senior’s discount. We stayed two nights and would definitely stay there again.

The sites are very tight, if you have a pull out or an awning you have to choose which one you would like to use (if your site has enough room). The washrooms were clean; staff was friendly, pay showers and laundry. No pull thrus, mostly grassy sites (a little sparse in spots). Some road noise during the day but quiet at night. Small playground for kids and a small heated pool. Very scenic location. Fresh baking if pre-ordered the night before $. We paid $30 per night. The campsite charged our credit card for two nights six weeks before we arrived. We had reserved for three nights. Seems a little steep and definitely an overly early charge. Probably will not stay there again.

We had a pull thru. Lots of room. Sites were clean, bathrooms and showers are a “10” for cleanliness. Close to town. Wi-Fi = $. Laundry = $. Each site had a picnic table and grassy area. Quiet. Would definitely stay there again.
